Since January of this year, 2200 editors have joined more than 130 Art+Feminism events around the world! We know there’s always more work to do, but let’s celebrate the more than 2000 new articles related to feminism, gender, and the arts added to the Wikiverse so far this campaign. Today, we want to share some resources for your continued editing and commitment to our 2021 campaign.
Articles Marked for Deletion
If you’ve written a new article this year, you may have faced pushback from other editors. If your article is at risk for deletion, we encourage you to:
- Review our training materials on the topic
- Wikipedia’s Deletion Policy Community Hours (recording)
- Slide deck (pdf)
- Join us on Slack or Telegram for support from other editors in our community
Join the Campaign
It’s not too late to join the 2021 campaign. If you’d like to join us as an organizer, review our resources and email us at info@artandfeminism.org. Event funding is available on a first come first serve basis until the end of our campaign year. For more details about applying, please see our Funding Guide.
If you’d like to join an event as an editor, check out our calendar and sign up for an upcoming event. We’ve got events in June with Filipinas of HamOnt and Arts Council Windsor.
