Art+Feminism is pleased to announce that Siân Evans, Dorothy Howard, Richard Knipel, Jacqueline Mabey, Michael Mandiberg, and Laurel Ptak are included in Foreign Policy magazine’s List of 100 Leading Global Thinkers for their work organizing the 2014 Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon.

The editors of Foreign Policy chose Art+Feminism because of the group’s ability to translate ideas into action. Evans, Howard, Knipel, Mabey, Mandiberg, and Ptak would like to acknowledge the many organizers and participants of the satellite edit-a-thons as well as the many Wikipedians who have made contributions to closing the gender gap on Wikipedia; this event could not have happened without them and they share this honor with you.
