The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum (GOKM) in partnership with Art + Feminism is hosting a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon on Thursday, July 20th. Join us in helping to close the gender gap and increase the presence of underrepresented members of the arts sector on Wikipedia, the world’s largest source of freely accessible information. Learn Wikipedia editing basics, and create and verify article content. No experience is required!
Refreshments, one-on-one assistance, and reference materials, will be provided. Please bring laptops and chargers. A limited number of laptops are available for checkout through the Library & Archive. Please reach out if additional accommodations are needed.
This is a free and public event!
