Brand-new editors are welcome and encouraged – empower yourself and underrepresented IAIA female artists on Wikipedia by editing content about them! This event hosted by IAIA Library is free and open to all. There will be a brief training on Wikipedia editing, and participants are encouraged to create a Wikipedia account prior to the event. Attendees don’t need to come prepared with articles to work on – we will provide a list of recommended articles to edit along with suggested resources.

We aim to advance IAIA’s mission of empowering creativity and leadership in Native arts and cultures by making strides to close the information gap about gender, feminism, and Indigenous arts on the Internet.
