Mt. SAC’s 2021 Art+Fem Wikipedia Event Series
Mt. SAC’s Library, Department of Art History, and Pride Center are proud to announce our virtual Spring Event Series centered on Art+Feminism’s Wikipedia Edit-a-thon Campaign! We will be hosting a series of panels and edit-a-thons to support the campus community, thanks to the support of the Wikimedia.
Events are intended to support course work in AHIS 3/3H and LIBR 1A and invest in our campus members who want to join Mt. SAC Art+Fem efforts this year, so that we can all edit with a feminist lens.
April 9th, 11am-1pm: Our first spring Wikipedia Edit-a-thon 1
June 4th, 11am-1pm: Our second spring Wikipedia Edit-a-thon 2
Participating classes have access to class modules about Art+Feminism Wikipedia assignments. In these classes, students will be assigned modules to learn more about these events, editing, and finding library sources to support editing.
