March 24th, 2023
University Park, Pennsylvania, United States
10:00am — 4:00pm EST
Hosts: The Pennsylvania State University Art Education Program in the School of Visual Arts & the Graduate Art Education Association.

Art+Feminism is a campaign to improve coverage of women and the arts on Wikipedia, and to encourage feminist editorship. On March 24, 2022, in honor of Women’s History Month, join the Penn State University faculty, students, and alumni for a communal updating of Wikipedia entries on feminist artists, feminist curatorial practices, feminist art pedagogy, and other subjects related to contemporary art/architecture/visual culture and feminism absent from Wikipedia. No prior experience needed with how to edit Wikipedia

A schedule of 2023 presentations and topics for Art+Feminism wikistorming is forthcoming and will be linked to the dashboard as well as the registration link to receive the zoom URL for those who prefer or unable to join in person. For examples, previous presentations in prior years are linked as zoom video recordings here.

COVID Statement: Masks are required when at the shared table. There are several nearby rooms in the feminist art education suite in the 2nd floor of the arts cottage to sit at a distance for refreshments and lunch.
