Women in Design @ NID Ahmedabad : Meet-up + Edit-a-thon + Panel
Women in Design aims to create and improve articles about all marginalised genders involved in the design world. To start with we want to identify women associated with NID and their contribution to design fields, whether it is contribution in the establishment of the institute or partaking in/heading design projects. Our initial focus would on the pre-liberalization times. We would be looking through the archives to make the articles more elaborate.
- 6th March first meet-up, with the agenda of preparing a list of women in design @ NID
- 19th-20th March first edit-a-thon
- 27th April panel discussion
- 30th April – 1st May edit-a-thon
Starting with English, we would also be contributing the same content to Wiki Hindi and Gujarati. We are also looking for all South Asian languages where one can contribute, so do let us know.
It is a hybrid event which will take place online as well as at National Institute of Design, Opp Tagore Hall, Paldi, Ahmedabad, India 382007
