Rochester Institute of Technology Libraries is hosting its 5th annual Women on Wikipedia Edit-a-thon in celebration of Women’s History Month. Improve the representation of women on Wikipedia by editing or writing new Wikipedia articles about notable women. Women are the subject of just 18% of biographies on English-language Wikipedia — who else is still missing?

No experience is necessary. Training, resources, and community will be available to empower participants to edit Wikipedia. Please register to join the virtual meet-up.

This online event is free and open to the public. People of all gender identities and expressions are welcome. Participants may drop in for half an hour or stay as long as they’d like. Access services are available by request at http://myaccess.rit.edu.
