Few Women are contributors on Wikipedia space,and women are underrepresented on media space. This project seeks to profile women in Media, creating Wikipedia pages for women on our local languages,thereby increasing visibility and readership.

This project is an in person event open for anyone interested in increasing the visibility of woman in Media. We will implement the Wikimedia foundation Universal Code of Conduct and Friendly Space policy for the Safety of our participants.

COVID-19 MITIGATION MEASURES

The following measures will be taken in order to reduce the risk of the Covid 19 during our in-person Event in this year’s Arts+Feminism campaign:

Nose masks will be given to all participants in the program. We will ensure that all participants wear their nose masks during the program.
We will adhere to social distancing among participants to help prevent the spread of covid-19.
Veronica buckets will be mounted at vintage points for participants to wash their hands with soap as and when necessary.
Hand sanitizers will be provided to all participants.
Thermometer guns will be used to check the temperature of participants before they are allowed into the venue.
Only participants who have completed the full dose of the Covid vaccination would be allowed into the venue. Vaccination cards of participants would be checked before they are allowed into the venue.
Participants who did not adhere to the above will not be allowed into the venue.  The venue for the event is well ventilated.
