This event is about hosting a panel conversation focusing on the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women in Nigeria to mark the 2023 International women’s day. Though there has been improvement in health systems globally, particularly as it affects Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), in Nigeria and other developing countries not much have been achieved as women and adolescent girls continue to suffer from lack of access to SRHR information and services with negative health outcomes and in most cases death. The 2023 International Women’s Day with the theme #EmbraceEquity would be a good opportunity to highlight this issue and how it affects women and girls in Nigeria. Information access is very critical in enhancing the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls and @E-WIN would like to raise a conversation about this particularly focusing on how we can leverage on Wikipedia to promote information sharing regarding sexual and reproductive health and rights in Nigeria.
